The book of memory

I open the book of memory that we wrote those days.
I see the pictures unfold.
A tear unrolls down my cheek as I walk the same roads alone.
I don’t know what good will I get, I don’t know what shore. But I gotta tell you this today, that each day I love you more.

And yet I know how hard it is, for the meeting to be. For, far you have gone away that you don’t even want to see me. There is so much glitter in your eyes, that you miss my misery. You fail to notice my forgiveness, as you figure out what your future prospects will be.

I am left here facing the same traffic that we once crossed together. Your memory creeping to torture my soul, whispering your absence now and hereafter.
I cry alone, to set your thoughts free.
